From a stand out site in the Ballard Canyon AVA, Kimsey gives us a concentrated fruit with a dark purple hue. A dynamic and balanced wine, with a refined nose of inky dark fruit, spice, and depth forrest floor carry over to the palette, here the wine is nicely structured and vibrant with juicy pomegranate. This classic syrah has a lot to offer, and will just get better a few years down the line. We ate this with a smoked duck salad and it was incredible!
